Carol's first piece of jewelry was given to her at the age of five by her father. He surprised her with a gold bracelet which he put on her wrist minutes before meeting Richard Nixon. From then on, she had a love affair with jewelry. She is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and is the owner of Carol Shafer Fine Jewelry. Carol retired in January 2020 and wants to share her expertise.
Carol has been a Rotarian for sixteen years and a member of the board of directors for many charitable organizations. She has had the privilege of speaking to Rotary clubs all over Los Angeles and Orange County.
In addition, she had an extensive and rewarding career in sales management. Because of the ethics and morals she displayed to clients she earned trips abroad, jewelry, cars and large bonuses.
